Hundreds of thousands of rape cases are registered in India every year, but these are just some of the cases that have caught the attention of many.
A similar incident has been made public in the Indian capital Delhi. A man has raped an 86-year-old woman.
This man is currently under police control.
According to Delhi Women's Commission chief Swati Maliwal, when woman was waiting for a milkman outside her house in the evening this man arrive nearby her.
Swati Maliwal said, "The man said that the person who always brings milk to the woman will not come today, so he will take her to a place where milk can be obtained."
According to Swati, the old woman believed him and went with him. The man then took her to a nearby field and raped her. She kept crying and begging to be released, but the man would not listen. She even beat the man in an attempt to free herself.
Some people walking from there heard her voice and went to rescue him. They are the one who handed over the accused to the police.
As per Swati, woman had a handful of sores. She has bruises on her face and body. And victim told her that she bled too.
Swati Maliwal has demanded death sentence for the accused.
